Spaghetti

Spaghetti is the plural form of the Italian word ‘spaghetto‘, which is a diminutive of ‘spago’, meaning “thin string” or “twine”. Authentic Italian spaghetti is always made with semolina flour and in fact, this is required by law in Italy. Here at The Big Dream Factory, we make all of our pasta (except our gluten free pastas), using semolina flour. This is a flour made only from durum wheat which is high in protein and gluten. It’s the gluten that gives the pasta its high elasticity.
