When The Pasta Maker started playing with pasta dough, it wasn’t long before we started to see our most popular and most time consuming specialty pasta, pasta flowers – pasta ‘fiori’.
It wasn’t long before we were adding flavour to the pasta dough which of course, meant more colour. The vibrant colours are perfect for creating quite the bouquet.
Spinach, beetroot, sun dried tomato, cilantro with lime, as well as lemon and parsley, are just a few of the flavours that have gone into creating these little gems of pasta.
Our flowers have become very popular and we usually only make them to order, or as time allows. If you would like to place an order for them, please use the form below and we will get back to you as soon as is pasta-possible!
how to serve our specialty pasta flowers
Each flower has to spend time drying in order that they keep their shape for you. Each flower is as thin as a piece of pasta and all take the same time to cook.
- Bring lightly salted water to a rapid boil.
- Add the pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes.
- Serve simply, drizzled in extra virgin olive oil and a sprinkling of grated Parmesan cheese.
We recommend serving our pasta flowers as a small collection on a plate, like a garnish. Or mixed into a colourful salad.
